A Virtude do Ódio Terrível artigo de Meir Y. Soloveichik, na First Things, sobre a virtude do ódio e a diferença entre cristãos e judeus no que diz respeito ao perdão. Cito apenas o final do artigo:

But one thing is certain: we will not soon forgive the actions of a man who, as he sent children to kill children, knew—all too well—just what he was doing. We will not—we cannot—ask God to have mercy upon him. Those Israeli parents whose boys and girls did not come home will pray for the destiny of his soul at the conclusion of their holiest day, but their prayer will be rather different from the rosary:

Let the terrorist die unshriven.

Let him go to hell.

Sooner a fly to God than he.

Apesar de agnóstico, não podia concordar mais.
